A POPULAR town centre pub has received a new hygiene grade. 

Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority - they are not a guide to food quality.

Ratings are given on a score from 0-5, with five being the highest.

The Lord John in Russell Street, was given a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating after assessment on November 17 the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
