A NEW food business has opened in the Stroud town centre.
New Indian street food trader, Namaste Stroud, raised the shutters last week in the indoor market at Five Valleys shopping centre.
The new food unit offers a range of north and south Indian street food including authentic Indian curry, dhal and biryani.

A selection of Indian snacks, savouries, chutneys and desserts are also being served alongside a wide range of hot and cold drinks.
It will also offer vegan and gluten free meals, snacks and daily freshly made pakoras.
Owner, Jay Naidu, moved to Stroud five years ago and has been a resident of Five Valleys for over four years, living in the centre’s residential apartments.
He is also the owner of Indian grocery shop, Gateway to India, on Russell Street and has now expanded his offering into Five Valleys.
Jay said: “We identified Five Valleys shopping centre as a great opportunity, due to its location, variety of food options and it being an innovative upmarket shopping centre.
“As Stroud has a diverse culture of people our aim is to cater to everyone needs and budgets.
"We are excited to bring a different cuisine to the indoor market and to serve the lovely people of Stroud.”
