A KEBAB van near Stonehouse has bounced back after being hit with a poor food hygiene rating earlier this year.

Ben's Kebab van - which is parked in the lay-by near the A419 Ebley Bypass - has received a new four star rating.

It comes following a recent inspection on Tuesday, September 19.

Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority - they are not a guide to food quality.

The three areas which are inspected by a food safety officer are the food handling, the conditions of the facilities and the management of food safety.

Ratings are given on a score from 0-5, with five being the highest.

The business was previously handed a zero-out-of-five rating after an assessment on January 20.
