A CAR was seized by police in Stroud following a tip-off.
Police say that a member of the public informed them of a vehicle left abandoned for several weeks in Rodborough.
The vehicle, which was seized by PC Palin, was untaxed and uninsured.
Officers say that seizing the vehicle helps prevent it from being a target for anti-social behaviour in the future.
More than 360 abandoned vehicles were reported in the Stroud district during the last financial year, according to the latest figures.
