A VETERAN is to be reunited with their medals which were stolen from his car almost 40 years ago.
PC Robinson from Stroud police recovered two medals on Saturday, saying they are looking forward to reuniting them with their rightful owner, a former paratrooper and veteran of the Falklands War.
These medals were stolen 39 years ago and had been located in an online sale.
The officer said they were going to give them to the veteran before this weekend's remembrance services.
