POLICE recovered two stolen vehicles over the weekend.

A dark grey Peugeot car and a dark grey motorbike were both seized by police in Runcorn on Sunday.

The motorbike was reported stolen from Warrington, while the car was taken from down south.

Officers from Cheshire Police say they will both be returned to their rightful owners, who will be ‘delighted’ to have them back.

The force’s Runcorn Police team said: “B-block beat team have located a stolen vehicle in the Halton Brook area.

“The vehicle had been stolen overnight from down south.

“The vehicle is being returned to its owner and investigations are currently ongoing.”

It then later added: “B-block beat officers have recovered another stolen vehicle this afternoon, this time taken from the Warrington area.

“We are sure the owner will be delighted to get it back.”
