A TOWN Post Office is closing temporarily for a refurbishment.
Nailsworth Post Office will be close for a revamp of the premises.
The branch - located at the Tesco in Old Market, Nailsworth - will be close for five weeks as of 5.30pm on Wednesday, September 18.
It is due to re-open at 9am on Monday, October 21.
During the interim, customers are being advised to use these alternative branches:
• Minchinhampton Post Office, 2 High Street, Minchinhampton (GL6 9BN)
• North Woodchester Post Office, Selsley Road, North Woodchester (GL5 5NQ)
• Stroud Post Office, 16-17 Russell Street, Stroud (GL5 3AA)
Daniel Rooney, Post Office partner account manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.
“The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it is necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
