A COMMUNITY fun day packed with activities including sports and circus skills is being held on Saturday.
The Top of Town Community Hub is hosting the event from 1pm to 4.30pm at Sladewood Academy in Bisley Old Road, Stroud.
World Jungle will be on hand to provide a wide range of activities including sports and circus skills.
A spokesperson for the Community Hub said: "It’s the perfect chance to have some fun, learn something new, and meet your neighbours and make connections.
"In addition to the fun and games, various community services will be on hand and we’re eager to hear from you about how we can better serve our local community.
"We currently offer food through our pay-as-you-can service and operate a community café on Tuesday and Saturday mornings but we want to do even more to help those around us.
"This is a great opportunity to come together, have fun, and support a cause that benefits everyone in our community. We hope to see you there!
"We would like to thank Sladewood for supporting us and providing the venue - their generosity allows us to bring the community together in a wonderful space.
"Let’s make this community fun day a day to remember!"
How to get involved:
• Enthusiastic volunteers are needed to help make the day a success - it could be assisting with setup, running activities or supporting ongoing initiatives - your help would be greatly appreciated
• Donations are needed for the raffle which will help fund community services
• Join the committee - if you have any useful skills or simply want to make a difference why not join the committee. Your input could help shape the future of the ever-growing service.

Based at Parliament Children’s Centre, the hub runs a food hub, pantry and hygiene bank and organises social activities like community cooking sessions, discos, gardening, pre-loved clothes rail and arts and crafts. Hot, delicious food is offered on a ‘pay what you can, if you can’ basis.
