A NAILSWORTH man must pay more than £700 after being caught speeding on the M5.
John Rolfe, aged 39, of Stroud Road, Nailsworth, was caught by an automatic camera device driving at 70mph in an area with a temporary speed restriction of 50mph.
The offence happened on December 1, 2023 on the M5 northbound at junction 16.
The case was proved via the single justice procedure at Bath Magistrates Courts on Tuesday, July 2.
Rolfe was fined £440 with a victim services surcharge of £176 plus £90 in costs and was also given five penalty points.
The total of £706 must be paid by Thursday, September 5.
