HUNDREDS of walkers took on a gruelling 21-mile challenge across the area over the weekend to raise money for a Stroud-based charity.
Walkers of all ages and abilities tackled the Five Valley Walk on Sunday, September 28 fundraising for Meningitis Now.
Families, groups and individuals trekked on the walk that supports the charity’s research as well as raising awareness and supporting those who suffer from meningitis.
Walkers could choose their distance between eight checkpoints, and a free bus service was available to return them to their starting point.
