A NEW Vietnamese café is set to open in the heart of Stroud, promising a warm and welcoming place.

Sai Gon Corner will launch in October opposite the Sub Rooms at the former home of Peanuts New York Deli and Smoke House, and previously Tomari-G.

The café team is hiring front-of-house staff to build a friendly, enthusiastic workforce.

A spokesperson for the café said: "This is a great opportunity to be part of a new independent cafe from the beginning and help us create a warm, welcoming place for our customers."

The café joins new Stroud businesses including Hash Hub in the Five Valleys food hall and Salt Bakehouse on Slad Road.

Home of Vintage has also welcomed traders including Wild Nook, Kira Mai Studio and Thimble and Wick.

Applicants can join the Sai Gon Corner team by sending a CV and short introduction to buulinhas@gmail.com.
