A HOTEL which was on sale for over £3 million has revealed that it has been bought.
The Stroud Hotel, opposite the town's train station, confirmed that Brakspear has acquired the business, describing the company as “very reputable and local”.
The hotel sought to reassure customers following the change in ownership, saying that the existing team will continue to look after customers, although there will be a 'handful of changes'.
The hotel will close temporarily from midday on Monday, November 2 until 7am on Monday, November 9.
In an announcement, the hotel said: “We will still take care of you with the team you know and love, there will just be a handful of changes!”
Customers with questions have been invited to contact the hotel directly by email or through its social media channels.
