Since the start of Operation Road Rescue, Gloucestershire County Council has now repaired 20,795 potholes.

Last week, 2,295 potholes were filled by 70 teams from Gloucestershire Highways.

Since January 25th, the teams have been out around the county repairing potholes, patching and resurfacing roads that were badly damaged during the freezing weather.

We have diverted 30% extra highways staff into dealing with problems out on the streets, to get the damage repaired as quickly as possible.

Last week we completed approx 8,600m2 of weather damage patching at the following locations: East * Bledington Village * Siddington Road, Cirencester * Ewan Central * Station Road, Gloucester * Priors Road, Gloucester * Tuffley Road, Gloucester * Mayfair Close, Hempstead * Longlands Lane / Longford Lane, Gloucester * Innsworth Lane, Longlevens * Hyde lane, Cheltenham * Dudbridge Hill, Stroud * High Street, Stonehouse * A46 Golden Cross, Stroud * Culver Hill, Stroud West * Barrel Lane, Longhope * B4221 Gorsley * B4222 Aston Ingham We also undertook the following resurfacing schemes: Dean Lane, Stoke Orchard - complete A40 / A417 C&G Roundabout – Phase 1 complete (Phase 2 continuing over night this Sunday 28th) Seymour Road, Gloucester – due to be complete tomorrow (26th) A4135 Kingscote – in progress, due to be complete tomorrow (26th)
