A CARER appeared at Stroud Magistrates' Court on Wednesday accused of five counts of abusing his position of trust by having sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl at a care home in the Stroud district.
Dennis McKenzie, aged 52, of Hanman Road, Tredworth, Gloucester pleaded not guilty to all charges, alleged to have taken place between January and August last year.
Magistrates committed the case to Gloucester Crown Court.
A committal hearing will take place at Gloucester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, September 8. McKenzie was released on unconditional bail.
