DANIEL Webb admitted supplying cocaine after he was seen on CCTV snorting the drug with friends in the garden of a Stroud nightclub, a court was told.

Police were called to Junction 13 in Nelson Street, Stroud, around 1.45am on June 26 after staff spotted Webb and two other males sprinkling a substance on the backs of their hands.

He was searched and found in possession of 3.27 grams of the Class A drug with a street value of around £150.

Clare Mortimer, defending at Stroud Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 8, said Webb was drunk, which caused his judgement to go ‘straight out the window’.

She added that the incident was ‘purely social’ among friends with no commercial element to it.

Webb, 21, of Stratford Road, Stroud, was released on unconditional bail to be sentenced at Gloucester Crown Court on September 30.
