JOSEPHINE Hoare was disqualified for 12 months after admitting driving with excess alcohol.
Stroud Magistrates’ Court heard on Wednesday, September 22, how Hoare was stopped for a routine check in London Road in Stroud around 4pm on August 18.
A test found she had 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Nick Cooper, defending, said Hoare had been drinking with work colleagues but thought she was still under the limit.
He added that she had suffered from depression since being made redundant from a previous job in 2006.
As well as the ban, Hoare, 53, of Windmill Road, Minchinhampton, was also fined £84 and ordered to pay £40 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
