A MAN was fined £50 and ordered to pay a further £50 in compensation after attacking a front door.
Michael Holland, aged 25, of Dudbridge Meadow, Stroud, admitted damaging a front door and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour at 11pm on July 14.
Prosecuting at Stroud Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 31, Sharon Jomaa said: "When the police arrived he told them that the owner of the house in Westward Road was constantly staring at his two sons and had called his wife a dirty little scamp.
"He said he only wanted to talk to him."
Defending himself Holland admitted it was stupid of him to take the matter into his own hands and he should have spoken to the police.
He was also ordered to pay £85 costs.
