OFFICERS found £25 worth of cannabis in Simon Marshall’s pocket after he was arrested for drunk and disorderly behaviour, a court heard.

Marshall, aged 41, of Mathews Way, Paganhill, pleased guilty to possession of the class B drug at Stroud Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 14.

Defender Leo Goatley said Marshall admitted it at the first opportunity and had recently found work.

He was fined £110 with £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
