FIREFIGHTER Nick Bird has enjoyed a festive £300 meal at the Stonehouse Court Hotel courtesy of a local garage.

The owner of Kings Auto Centre in King’s Stanley, Leigh Smith, offered one lucky customer the chance to win the Christmas lunch for four back in October.

Every customer who spent more than £150 at the garage between October and November 30 was automatically entered, for free, into the competition.

Mr Smith said: “In the first week of December we picked out an invoice at random.

“Nick Bird was this year’s winner and he will enjoy a three course meal for himself and three guests at the Stonehouse Court Hotel in Bristol Road, Stonehouse.

“The meal was supposed to be had on Christmas Day, however he has chosen to rearrange the date and instead had it between then and New Year’s Eve.”

This will be the third year Kings Auto Centre has run this competition and as a result they have established a highly renowned reputation, especially when it comes to giving away gifts to their customers.

“We like to give something back to our loyal customers as well as giving good service at the right price,” added Mr Smith.

Although the first prize was a Christmas Day lunch worth £300, Leigh also gave every customer a free umbrella with every full service over the period.

The Christmas Day meal at the Stonehouse Court Hotel was a three course meal with all the added festive trimmings.
