Pancake Day at Saint James' Chatterbox
Ready, steady, go!
YOUNGSTERS at Saint James’ Chatterbox in Quedgeley were off to a good start on Tuesday morning when they took part in the annual pancake race.
Youngsters decorated their pretend pancakes made from foam with an assortment of food pictures they liked to eat.
Once complete the pancakes were placed on cardboard pans ready for the race.
The toddlers loved taking part and everyone was a winner.
As a reward each child received a juicy apple to take home.
Revd Canon Fr. John said: "It was an amazing morning. Because Chatterbox is always held on a Tuesday this event takes place each year. The children love racing down the aisles. I know that many of children here today are looking forward to tucking in to some real pancakes when they get home."
