MADAM – ‘Badger Lovers Beware’
Once again the powers that be have decided to slaughter hundreds of badgers in a misguided attempt to control bovine TB.
As a former land worker I am convinced that modern intensive methods of animal husbandry, where lots of animals are enclosed in small areas, is responsible for the spread of various diseases in animals.
It is the same with humans – where lots of people congregate in small areas, coughs and germs etc spread rapidly.
Badger lovers beware – let’s get as many anti-cull people out as possible to peacefully disrupt the cull and help protect this lovely animal before it is too late.
Also, let us not forget that the badger is in fact protected by law.
He should not be made a scapegoat.
