HOW is it that there is mobile phone reception in Box and a couple of miles up the road but none at all in Minchinhampton?
Our Orange phone had good reception in Minchinhampton until Orange was taken over by EE and then it ceased.
When I tried to find out the reason, I was told that either my mobile was faulty (it isn’t) and that the EE transmitters are the same as the Orange ones (then why don’t we get a signal?).
I have tried to contact both Orange and EE online but both inform me that they will send a code to my mobile which I must use to get into their websites.
Since I have no mobile signal, I seem to have reached an impasse.
What price modern technology!
