HIS culinary skills may not match up to his sizzling hot goalscoring form, but 18-goal Forest Green striker Christian Doidge is keen to cook up a storm at his old club Dagenham and Redbridge this weekend.

Under leftfield chairman Dale Vince, Rovers like to do things outside the box, and after training today, Doidge and his promotion-chasing team-mates were given a vegan cooking masterclass from club chef Em Franklin.

Tofu, nuts, beans and grains were on the menu, but Doidge's aim is fixed on finding the winning ingredients to defeat Rovers' promotion rivals in London on Saturday.
