FOREST Green midfielder Matt Worthington is looking for an extended run in the FA Cup after missing out on the chance to play Manchester United last season.

Worthington was on loan at Yeovil Town last season but was recalled just weeks before the tie with Jose Mourinho's side.

The 20-year-old is keen to go on a run and give himself the chance of playing against one of the Premier League's big boys.

"I played a few rounds at Yeovil and was called back before the Manchester United game," He said.

"It's a great competition for the lads to progress through and get the chance to play the Premier League teams.

"Anything can happen and it's a great competition.

"The group we've got is a great group so fingers crossed we get the win tomorrow. A draw wouldn't be too bad but we want to win."

Rovers will be looking to cause an upset by knocking out Oxford who are on a six match unbeaten run in League One but the midfielder believes the U's are the team under pressure.

"Anyone can beat anyone in this competitions so they'll be feeling the pressure," he said.

"We'll be ready for that so it's a great opportunity."

The Bournemouth loanee wants the team to quickly bounce back after succesive defeats but wants to take some encouragement into the cup tie.

"I think the lads did well against Lincoln City and they were lucky to get the win," he added.

"Against Arsenal it was a tough game against tough opposition.

"We had chances but they were more clinical but we've put that behind us now and we've got this game to turn it around and put it right."
