Olveston travelled to play high-flying Shaftesbury in the league as they looked to bounce back from their penalty defeat in the cup.
The home side started well and dominated the opening exchanges of the match, with Olveston's midfield staying tight and compact.
The work of the midfield and defence mean that Shaftesbury were struggling to carve an opening, they were then punished as Olveston's Russell Driver pounced on a loose ball to slot into the bottom corner for 0-1.
That was made 0-2 shortly after, when Driver found the bottom corner from the edge of the box to double the lead before half time.
In the second half, Tom Bradley made two fantastic saves to maintain the two goal lead, before his counterpart in the other goal received a red card.
Bizarrely he was sent off for dissent, which then allowed Matt Knight to smash home a rebound shortly after.
Shaftesbury came forward, looking for a way back in to the game, however it was finished when Olveston struck on the counter.
James Moore notching on the 80 minute mark for 0-4.
Olveston now prepare for a game against Chipping Sodbury Reserves.
