Stroud fighter Ed Mobbs will be returning to the cage for the first time in three years at Raged UK's professional and amateur Martial Arts event in Swindon on Saturday night.

Ed will be taking on Gary Trevett at the Oasis, North Star Avenue in Swindon in what will be his third fight.

He's endured a tough training schedule with coach Antanas Jazbutis, who competed international fight in Birmingham last week,  ahead of the fight. He has lost 10kg in the last couple of weeks and will fight at 93kg.

In his previous to fights, Ed has won one and lost one but hasn’t fought since 2015 due to the birth of his two children in 2016 and 2017.

Ed and his wife Sarah own the EMpower gym off Nelson Street in Stroud, for private classes and personal training.

On Saturday's fight, Ed said: "I’m looking forward to competing again. I’m feeling very fortunate to have a lot of friends coming to Swindon on Saturday to support me, we have 2 VIP tables booked for them, so would like to thank them for their support.

"Also feeling fortunate for the top quality training and help I’ve had to prepare for the fight at my gym, Empower in Stroud."

Tickets are £25, £35 ringside for the event and a further £5 if paying on the door.
