FOREST Green defender Liam Shephard made his comeback from injury in today's Central League 2-1 defeat at Plymouth Argyle.
Shephard hasn't featured for Rovers since he scored in a 2-1 victory at Exeter City at the end of October but got 60 minutes under his belt at Home Park.
The full-back has been named in the starting line-up to face Plymouth alongside fellow first team players Lee Collins, Robert Sanchez, George Williams, Isaac Pearce and Tahvon Campbell.
Scott Laird also started as well as Jordan Simpson, who recently returned from a loan spell with Havant and Waterlooville.
Dayle Grubb was not involved. The winger hasn't played since November 10 and has been sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Campbell netted a late consolation for Rovers who were 2-0 down at Home Park.
