10-Man Forest Green Rovers scored twice in added time as goals from Reuben Reid and George Williams saw them come from behind to beat Yeovil Town.

Rovers were behind through Rhys Browne's stirke early in the second half and things got worse when Paul Digby got sent off with around 15 minutes to go.

It was a frustrating 90 minutes for Rovers as their appeared to be a foul in the build up to Yeovil's opener which led to a mini protest by Mark Cooper's men on the touchline but Reid's sixth of the season and Williams' first league goal for the club sees Rovers go eighth.

Mark Cooper welcomed back Liam Shephard and Dayle Grubb after their recent injury lay-offs.

Lee Collins also returned and took a place on the Rovers bench.

Grubb and Shephard came in for Gavin Gunning and Matt Worthington. Cooper made two further changes as Robert Sanchez was recalled in place of James Montgomery in goal while Reuben Reid started up front ahead of Ben Morris.

The rain came down heavily from minute one at Huish Park and the early exchanges were scrappy.

Jordan Green looked a threat for Yeovil and he had the first chance of the game which crept just wide after he tried to squeeze the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

The weather did clear up but there was little improvement on the pitch. Rovers grew into it but Yeovil came the closes in the first half when Gary Warren headed a corner towards goal and Lloyd James blocked it superbly on the line before the ball was eventually turned behind.

Rovers rarely tested the keeper. Their best chance came on 39 minutes when Brown found Shephard with space in the area who tried to power in a shot but it was beaten away by the Stroud-born keeper Stuart Nelson.

Forest Green started the second half brightly but it Yeovil who took the lead on 56 minutes. Substitute Rhys Browne darted down the left and looked to have fouled Joseph Mills on his way.

The referee waved it away and Browne continued his run into the area before smashing the ball into the roof of the net. Cooper then bizarrely called his players over to the touchline, clearly angry not to have won a free kick which frustrated the Yeovil fans.

Rovers were clearly unsettled and Browne almost caught them out again but his powerful shot was battered away by Sanchez.

They responded well and in the 64th, Shephard crossed well for Grubb whose effort on the stretched was tipped behind by Nelson. Mills' header from the subsequent corner flashed just wide.

It was proving a frustrating afternoon for Rovers. Reid was denied a penalty after 64 minutes but things got worse with just under 15 minutes to go when Paul Digby was sent off for a challenge on Browne.

Browne was down as Digby tried to recover the ball, the Glovers man appeared to grab Digby's leg and the midfielder retaliated and stamped on Browne and there were no real complaints when he was given his marching orders.

Rovers played fairly well with 10 men. Substitute Ben Morris had a good chance when he danced his way into the area and forced a decent save out of Nelson from close range on 82 minutes.

Yeovil were playing all the tricks in the book in terms of time wasting and drawing Rovers players into bookings but Rovers' finally changed.

Seven minutes were added on and Reid equalised in the 92nd minutes after sliding Theo Archibald's beautiful cross into the bottom corner.

Things got even better for Rovers when substitute George Williams raced through and his deflected shot found the net and his first for the club won it for Cooper's side.
