MANAGERS VIEW
Mark Cooper: “I think it's a brilliant game. I’m looking forward to the game against Mansfield Town because it will be two really good football teams going up against each other," Cooper said.
"I'd describe Mansfield as dynamic all over the pitch which we have to be careful of.
"The manager Dave Flitcroft’s got them really believing and they'll be really confident of securing a promotion spot. We respect what they do and what they've got but we'll look after that and try and play our game as well."
David Flitcroft: "Mark is a visionary. He lives for football and loves football. He is a fantastic coach and probably the right fit for them.
“The football they play is excellent and expansive – they move it through the pitch.
“He improves players and I have a lot of time for the work they do down there."
PREDICTED LINE-UP
(4-3-3): Sanchez, Shephard, Rawson, McGinley, Mills, James, Winchester, Brown, Grubb, Reid, Williams.
SNJ VERDICT
This looks to be a very difficult fixture for Forest Green but Mansfield are a team they need to take points off if they want to finish in the play-offs.
Mansfield have a great squad for League Two with a good mix of youth and experience. They are unbeaten in 13 and having not been beaten on the road, they are probably the toughest team to beat in League Two.
Flitcroft will have them well drilled and it wouldn't be too surprising to see a physical encounter.
Digby will be a big miss and he would have relished facing his former club. Rovers will be buoyed by their late win at Yeovil with 10 men which should give them belief that they can end their home goalscoring woes.
Any kind of result would be a welcomed one. There has been little to separate Rovers with the top teams in their games so far this season so another close game is probable.
PREDICTION
Forest Green 0-1 Mansfield
