BRIGHTON and Hove Albion have recalled goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from his loan at Forest Green to provide further cover for Mathew Ryan who is jetting off to the Asia Cup.
Sanchez did return to Brighton earlier this month to nurse an hamstring injury but has been recalled by the Premier League club to provide cover for David Button and Jason Steele.
The Spaniard made 17 clean sheets at Forest Green and becomes the fourth loan player to be recalled this month.
Chris Hughton told Brighton's club website: "Robert has enjoyed a beneficial period on loan at Forest Green, where he has been able to pick up valuable experience at senior level.
“However, with Maty away on international duty, it’s necessary for us to recall Robert from his loan spell, as we look to provide support for both David and Jason over the coming weeks.”
