SLIMBRIDGE have appointed Bristol Rovers coach Alex Lumsden as their new assistant manager.
Lumsden was first team coach at Bishop’s Cleeve last season and also had spells at Brimscombe &Thrupp and Stonehouse Town.
Boasting a UEFA B License, he also coaches at Bristol Rovers youth development.
Swans’ boss Lee Driver-Dickerson, who has agreed to remain at Thornhill Park, said: “ I am over the moon to have such a good man as Alex come on board, people have told me what a excellent coach he is and I can’t wait for pre-season to start, it is exciting times here at Thornhill Park and I am confident we will do well this time around.”
Meanwhile, Slimbridge have also appointed Jade Sturt as their new sports therapist Slimbridge are preparing for their fifth campaign in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South.
They narrowly avoided relegation, finishing 18th in the league in 2018-19 season.
