Huddersfield Town have announced the signing of Forest Green Rovers midfielder Reece Brown for an undisclosed six-figure compensation fee.
The Examiner Live have reported the fee is believed to be in the region of £130,000 and a sell-on clause is understood to have been put in place by Forest Green.
Since joining two years ago from Birmingham City, Brown made 94 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals, including 11 last term as he went on to claim the club’s Player of the Season award as well as pick up the League Two Player of the Month award for March.
Brown's name has been in the frame for Huddersfield Town for several weeks, with rumours last week indicating that Brown was on the verge of agreeing a deal despite reported competition from Leeds United, Bristol City and others.
