QUEDGELEY'S Scott Redding made it a Snetterton clean sweep after beating team-mate Josh Brookes in the second Bennetts British Superbike race.
The championship leader extended his advantage to 38 points ahead of Tommy Bridewell after a late surge on his Australian PBM compatriot, which allowed him to lift the revived Race of Aces trophy.
Redding crept forward in his grid position but avoided a penalty and slotted into second behind Bridewell.
With Tarran Mackenzie closing the gap between his team-mate Jason O’Halloran in fifth and the front three, the Ducati three had already pulled a second on the pack with just two laps in the bag.
Redding, who had clocked the fastest lap of the race at 1’47.838, out-braked Bridewell to take second at Brundle.
The seventh round of the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike Championship takes place at Thruxton on August 2/3/4
