James Montgomery has left Forest Green Rovers to join National League side AFC Fylde.
The goalkeeper has signed a two-year deal with The Coasters.
Montgomery, 25, played 25 times for Rovers since joining last summer from Gateshead.
Fylde boss Dave Challinor is delighted to bring in the keeper.
He told the club's website: “He’s been one on our list for three years really, but once someone moves up into the Football League, you know it will be tough to pull it off.
“Ultimately we needed to replace one very good keeper with another very good keeper – and we’ve done that.”
Delighted to have signed @AFCFylde really looking forward to the new challenges ahead and can’t wait to get started 🙌🏽 pic.twitter.com/yr92Kpnvxu
