IN what appears to be a smart piece of transfer dealing, Forest Green have landed Peterborough striker Matt Stevens for a cut-price fee.
The SNJ understands Peterborough valued Stevens at £250,000 after Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony previously rebuffed a £25,000 bid from Rovers.
However, sources close to Forest Green have revealed the fee paid for Stevens is not far off their original offer.
