SAM PRIOR lauded his Brimscombe side as they held Slimbridge in their last pre-season friendly.
The Lilywhites were held to a 1-1 draw against Southern League Slimbridge. Ben Aitkin gave the visitors the lead but Sam Blackie levelled things up for Prior’s side.
Prior said: “It was a good, entertaining game of football between two good sides.
“I thought our first half performance was as good as I’ve seen this pre-season, our ball retention and quality of play was excellent and leaves us in a good place for the start of the season.”
BRIMSCOMBE start their Hellenic Premier Division campaign at home to Binfield on Saturday, 3pm.
