FOREST GREEN boss Mark Cooper lauded the impact of ‘out of the world’ Celtic loanne Jack Aitchinson as the striker stepped off the bench to snatch a sumptuous winner on his debut.
In a helter-skelter second-half, Lewis Thomas saved a penalty before up popped Atchinson to strike with 11 minutes to go, sending Rovers up to fifth in the early season table.
Atchinson certainly has a liking for debut goals and remains Celtic’s youngest ever goalscorer in their history, scoring off the bench against Motherwell back in 2016.
“ We have to thank our keeper for saving the penalty and little Jack Aitchinson for being totally out of the world when he came on and netted the winner and looked really sharp and he won us the game."
