HONEST Jack Aitchison has revealed he's suffered periods of homesickness during his season-long loan from Scottish Premiership giant Celtic.
The teenager has been an intergral part of Forest Green's auotmatic-promotion hopes, scoring four goals in as many games to catapault Mark Cooper's side to second in League Two.
With a wise head on young shoulders, the 19-year-old is relishing his time at Rovers, but openly admitted he still has moments when he misses his homeland.
He revealed: "I've had a couple of homesickness times when Ive been in the house alone and I'm not afraid to say it - I miss my mum and I'm close to my family, but I'm not afraid to say that."
