FORMER Forest Green midfielder Reece Brown has joined Peterborough United on loan from Championship outfit Huddersfield Town.

Brown has played just one game for the Terriers since moving from Forest Green in the summer, but he will be in the Posh squad to face Burnley in an FA Cup third round tie at Turf Moor tomorrow.

The 23-year-old Brown - who played 52 league and cup matches last season, scored 11 goals and provided 15 assists to earn his move to the John Smith's Stadium.

Rovers offered him a new deal at the end of last season and would have been due compensation as he was under the age of 24 but a fee believed to be just over £100,000 avoided the sides going to a tribunal.
