JOHN MORTLOCK A sad note to declare that John Richard Mortlock passed away peacefully on the 9th March, aged 72. John is survived by his wife Penny and three sons. A remarkable man in so many ways - John had requested that there is to be no funeral, but insists that he is remembered fondly by all that knew him.

Hello, if this the John who volunteered at Woodchester Mansion, then I have very fond memories of him. He helped get the Mansion on the map in its early days and would often ring me up desperate for volunteers for the weekend. I was sad when he left the Mansion due to ill health.
If this isn’t the John I knew, then sorry as his name was the only clue in the obituary notice.
