SINGING school children are set to bring a tingle of Christmas spirit to Stroud shoppers on Thursday at 4.30pm.
Gastrells Primary School choir will be performing a range of songs at the Merrywalks Centre to help raise funds for Winston’s Wish, who support over 30,000 bereaved children and young people per year.
From now until Christmas, the charity is also encouraging shoppers at the Stroud mall to place a star on the Christmas tree in memory of a loved one who has died.
Stars are available in Merrywalks and a suggested donation of £1 is encouraged, to be placed in the collection tin at Roman.
