FROM the silver screen to the Sub Rooms’ stage – over 80 Gloucestershire musicians are set to entertain with a programme of music from the movies.
The Gloucestershire Symphonic Wind Orchestra and the national award winning Gloucestershire Youth Wind Orchestra will present a family focused programme in Stroud on Sunday afternoon.
With narration from Sub Rooms’ manager Paul McLaughlin, this feast of film music is set to include pieces from Jurassic Park, The Mission, Frozen, Chicken Run, James Bond, Despicable Me, Out of Africa and more.
There will be an accompanying workshop in the morning for young wind, brass and percussion players.
Music from the Movies is taking place at the Sub Rooms on Sunday, February 7, at 3pm.
