LIFE is about to become curiouser and curiouser for ‘fuzzrop’ exponent George Montague.
The former Wynstones School and Cirencester College student is launching his second album of original music in August, and to celebrate he is giving a two hour concert in Woodchester this weekend.
George – who coined the term ‘fuzzrop’ to describe the mixture of funk, jazz, rock, pop that he plays – is currently adding the final touches to his album Curiouser and Curiouser George.
And he simply can’t wait to share his latest batch of songs.
He will be playing an extensive repertoire of his own high-energy original tracks on piano, guitar and ukulele, including live-looping samples with his beat-boxing and vocal harmony skills, at the Convent on Saturday at 9pm.
