SPARROW Valerie (Née Jones) Valerie passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on 11th April 2023, aged 82, at Gloucester Royal Hospital. Beloved wife of Denis, dearly missed mother of David and Denise, adored grandmother to Harriett, Jacob, Reiss, Kaine, and great-grandmother to Summer, Isabella and Alfie. Val will be much missed by all her family and her many dancing and other friends. Val's funeral will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Minchinhampton, on Friday 5th May at 11am followed by interment in the churchyard. The wake afterwards will be at The Old Lodge on Minchinhampton Common. Everyone welcome! You might like to wear something sparkly or splendid in tribute to this colourful, stylish lady.
