RUNNING enthusiast Alastair Dickinson, 60, would like to thank all those who helped him raised more than £340 for campaign group Slad Valley Action Group when he ran the Stroud half marathon in October.
Alastair, whose garden looks over the proposed Baxter’s Field site took part in the race to try and stop 140 new homes being built in his back yard in Summer Street.
“I just want to say a big than you to everyone who supported me and also to the volunteers and marshals who helped with the race organisation," he said.
