ACTOR Susan Lynch – who has appeared in films alongside Ewan McGreggor, Johnny Depp and Cate Blanchett - is directing Ruscombe Amateur Theatre Society (RATSociety) in their first show.
The production – Crimes of the Heart – features six people from the Stroud area who have little or no dramatic experience.
Written by Beth Henley and set in 1970s Mississippi, Crimes Of The Heart is a funny and at times tragic story about three dysfunctional sisters.
Performances will take place at the Whiteway Colony Hall on Friday at 7.30pm and Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
RATSociety is also thrilled to announce Oscar nominee Samantha Morton as their patron. Samantha is best known for her roles in Minority Report, In America and Sweet and Lowdown, the latter two of which she was nominated for an Oscar.
Performances will take place on Friday at 7.30pm and Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets can be purchased online via www.ratsociety.com
