A 33-YEAR-OLD man has died following a collision on the A48 near Lydney.
A white Ford transit van with a blue rear flat bed body was travelling from Blakeney towards Lydney when it left the road and collided with trees shortly after 11.10am on Saturday, August 2.
The passenger, a 33-year-old Blakeney man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The next of kin and coroner have been informed.
The driver of the van, a 66-year-old man from Blakeney, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, where his injuries were described as not life threatening.
The road was closed until 4.20pm while a collision investigation took place.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or the vehicle being driven before the collision should call 101, quoting incident 155 of August 2.
