STROUD photographer Tammy Lynn Kwan took these amazing pictures of rutting stags at the weekend.
After getting up at 4am on Sunday, Tammy travelled to Richmond Park in south west London with other photographer friends to capture one of autumn's most dramatic sights.
Stags lock horns at this time of year to establish mating rights.
The mating season lasts from late September to November with stags being at their most aggressive in October.
Rutting stags can be witnessed in an area of the park described as The Old Deer Park.
Anyone keen to witness the spectacle needs to be there around dawn and are advised to keep at least 100 metres from the animals.
Tammy is a professional photographer, see www.tammylynn.co.uk for further details.
