POLICE are appealing for a female dog walker to get in contact after a woman pedestrian died in a collision with a bin lorry in Norton this morning.
Officers were called shortly after 10am to a road leading to Gloucester Clay Shooting Club, just off the A38.
The deceased pedestrian, believed to be aged 72 and from the local area, was confirmed dead at the scene by paramedics. Her Next of Kin have been informed.
A woman walking a dog was seen on the same road at the time of the collision and is urged to make contact with police.
She is encouraged to come forward as she may have vital information. Even if she did not witness anything police would like her to call.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 126 of November 24.
