A 15-YEAR-OLD has been charged with attempted robbery, ABH and possession of an offensive weapon following an incident at a store in Kingsway, Quedgeley.
It happened at 8.30pm on Tuesday, November 18 after a male entered the store, struck a member of staff with a metal implement and demanded money from the till. No money was taken.
He has been released on bail and will appear at Gloucester Youth Court on Thursday, January 8.
PC Steve Sutton, from Gloucestershire Police, said: "I would like to thank everyone who responded to our Facebook appeal for information leading to the arrest of this person.
"Almost immediately after we had posted it we received a great response from a number of people with useful information to help us."
